Copp, RN, BSN, NCICS, is being honored for her exceptional successes in the nursing community.  With many years in the industry, Joan has demonstrated the passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for patient care necessary to be considered a Top Nurse in her field. Joan is on the faculty of the Consolidated School of Business in Lancaster and York, Pennsylvania.  CSB is devoted to providing career education for the business, health, and information technology fields. In addition to being a nurse, Joan is also a certified insurance and coding specialist, working with the administrative side of medicine to ensure that patients are coded and billed properly for their diagnoses.  On their faculty for 12 years, Joan has over 40 years of experience in the nursing field. In 1977, Joan received her nursing degree from the University of Maine.  She then received her billing and coding certification from the National Center for Competency Testing.  Joan is also a public health nurse, who enjoys giving back to the community; as well as a member of the Pennsylvania Nurses Association.
