Kathleen serves Legacy Midwifery in Portland, Oregon.  Part of the Legacy Health System, Kathleen also practices in Saint Helens, Oregon.  She specializes in centering pregnancy, water births, depo-provera birth control shots, and providing complete women’s health for pregnant women.  In addition to being a certified midwife to deliver babies safely, Kathleen is also a nurse practitioner.  She has the autonomy and can work independently, similar to a physician.  Kathleen also teaches on water birth and does hospice events. In 1989, Kathleen began her education by receiving a Bachelor’s Degree.  She then received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of San Francisco in 1993, followed by her Master’s in Nursing from Oregon Health and Science University in 2000.  Kathleen maintains membership in the American College of Nurse-Midwives.
