[1]Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare and the International Nurses Association are proud to announce that Anne Filion, RN, MS, BSN, CMA, RT, is being honored for her exceptional successes in the nursing community. With many years in the industry, Anne has demonstrated the passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for patient care necessary to be considered a Top Nurse in her field. Anne works at St. Mary’s Hospital in West Hartford, Connecticut. Prior to beginning her nursing career, Anne was a Somatics Practitioner with PTSD patients. Also known as remotivation therapy, this technique gradually exposes the patient to the source of their shock or trauma in order for them to eventually get over their fear of it. Anne has 15 years of experience in this field, and was also a holistic therapist and dance instructor for the Hartford Conservatory. In 2011, Anne received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Quinnipiac University. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Adult Education from the University of Montreal. A dance movement therapist, Anne also practices Laban Dance movement analysis, another way patients (usually children) can relieve various traumas and depression through dance. Her goals for the future include starting a program for those with chronic pain to help manage it, relying on her years of experience as a remotivation therapist.
