Press Release: Zivix to Showcase New JamStik for Learning and Creating Music at Engadget Expand Conference 2013
Minneapolis, Minnesota – March 12, 2013 – Zivix LLC, a developer leveraging innovative technology through peripherals, real musical instruments and software, today announced that it will exhibit at the 2013 Engadget Expand Conference taking place March 16-17 in San Francisco at the historic Fort Mason Center. Zivix will provide a sneak-peek demo of its JamStik™ at the conference. This portable, 5-fret, guitar-like device employs the company’s multi-patented IR fingertip-sensing technology, which makes expressive instruments such as guitars compatible with the digital world.
Engadget Expand, a brand-new conference designed from the ground up for technology fans, will give attendees the opportunity to hear from consumer electronics experts on stage as well as a chance to experience the latest new devices on the show’s exhibition floor. Zivix will be offering demonstrations of JamStik at booth #29 allowing attendees to witness first-hand the many ways this device offers users to learn, create and play music like never before.
“Prior to JamStik, musicians and entry-level players have had limited access to connect their instruments to the digital world in a way that fully captures the expression that many musicians expect,” said Chad Koehler, vice president at Zivix. “This conference will give our team the opportunity to inform and educate attendees about the ease of use, accuracy and portability of our newest addition to the music industry’s interactive educational market.”
