Wall Street Stalls in Early Trading
Data showing that the economies of the countries that use the euro were out of recession gave a jolt to European stocks, but did little to drive Wall Street indexes. In early trading the Standard & Poor?s 500-share index fell 0.1 percent, the Dow Jones industrial average was 0.4 percent lower and the Nasdaq composite lost 0.1 percent.
