Adam Levine’s protegee Rozzi Crane sets out on her own
Competing on The Voice isn’t the only way to get Adam Levine to turn his chair around. University of Southern California music student Rozzi Crane caught his attention in a much subtler way. Her classmates Sam Farrar and Jacques Brautbar from the band Phantom Planet, who were working on music with Crane, showed videos of her performances to Levine’s manager. When Levine saw her videos, he shot her an email asking her to be the first artist on his new label, 222 Records.
