Staples Disappoints on Earnings, Sales and Guidance
This morning, Staples (SPLS) reported second quarter earnings fell to $102.5 million, or 16 cents per share, on revenue of $5.31 billion. The second quarter report disappointed as Wall Street estimates called for earnings of 18 cents per share on revenue of $5.37 billion.
