Another Gold For Belarus In Aerials At Olympics
Anton Kushnir won the gold medal in Olympic men’s aerials Monday night, giving Belarus its second gold medal of the games in the freestyle skiing event. Alla Tsuper of Belarus took the women’s gold Friday. Kushnir earned a score of 134.5 for his biggest trick, putting him in front. Two Chinese skiers, Qi Guangpu and Jia Zongyang, had a chance to better that score but both of them fell on their landings. In 2010, Alexei Grishin won the title. On Monday, he didn’t make it through qualifying.
