Research Analysts’ upgrades for Friday, February 21st:

Agrium (NYSE:AGU) was upgraded by analysts at Miller Tabak from a hold rating to a buy rating.

AMN Healthcare Services (NYSE:AHS) was upgraded by analysts at EVA Dimensions LLC from a hold rating to an overweight rating.

Altera Corp. (NASDAQ:ALTR) was upgraded by analysts at TheStreet from a hold rating to a buy rating. The analysts wrote, “Altera (ALTR) has been upgraded by TheStreet Ratings from hold to buy. The company’s strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its revenue growth, good cash flow from operations, largely solid financial position with reasonable debt levels by most measures and expanding profit margins. We feel these strengths outweigh the fact that the company has had sub par growth in net income.”

BAE Systems PLC (OTCMKTS:BAESY) was upgraded by analysts at Societe Generale from a hold rating to a buy rating.

Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. (NYSE:COG) was upgraded by analysts at UBS AG to a neutral rating.

Commscope Holding Company (NASDAQ:COMM) was upgraded by analysts at Bank of America to a buy rating. Bank of America currently has $24.00 target price on the stock, up from their previous target price of $21.00. The analysts wrote, “CommScope is a relatively low risk play on several important growth themes, such as LTE growth and data center modernization, in our view. The company offers stable 4% revenue growth, modest margin expansion, solid cash flow generation (10% FCF yield) and significant debt reduction plans that should result in net income growth of 18% in 2014 and 16% in 2015.”

Denny’s Corp. (NASDAQ:DENN) was upgraded by analysts at TheStreet from a hold rating to a buy rating. The analysts wrote, “Denny’s Corporation (DENN) has been upgraded by TheStreet Ratings from hold to buy. The company’s strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its notable return on equity and increase in stock price during the past year. We feel these strengths outweigh the fact that the company has had sub par growth in net income.”

EMC Insurance Group (NASDAQ:EMCI) was upgraded by analysts at Sandler O’Neill from a hold rating to a buy rating. The firm currently has $32.00 price target on the stock, up from their previous price target of $30.00.

Helix Energy Solutions Group (NYSE:HLX) was upgraded by analysts at TheStreet from a hold rating to a buy rating. The analysts wrote, “Helix Energy Solutions Group (HLX) has been upgraded by TheStreet Ratings from hold to buy. The company’s strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its revenue growth, impressive record of earnings per share growth, compelling growth in net income, expanding profit margins and attractive valuation levels. We feel these strengths outweigh the fact that the company has had lackluster performance in the stock itself.”

Old National Bancorp (NYSE:ONB) was upgraded by analysts at Sandler O’Neill from a hold rating to a buy rating.

PDC Energy (NASDAQ:PDCE) was upgraded by analysts at Global Hunter Securities from a neutral rating to a buy rating. They currently have $78.00 price target on the stock, up from their previous price target of $72.00.

Penn Virginia Corp. (NYSE:PVA) was upgraded by analysts at TheStreet from a sell rating to a hold rating. The analysts wrote, “Penn Virginia Corporation (PVA) has been upgraded by TheStreet Ratings from sell to hold. The company’s strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its robust revenue growth, solid stock price performance and increase in net income. However, as a counter to these strengths, we also find weaknesses including generally higher debt management risk, disappointing return on equity and weak operating cash flow.”

Signet Jewelers (NYSE:SIG) was upgraded by analysts at UBS AG from a hold rating to a buy rating. UBS AG currently has $690.00 price target on the stock, up from their previous price target of $120.00.

Silver Wheaton (NYSE:SLW) was upgraded by analysts at TheStreet from a hold rating to a buy rating. The analysts wrote, “Silver Wheaton Corporation (SLW) has been upgraded by TheStreet Ratings from hold to buy. The company’s strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its revenue growth, largely solid financial position with reasonable debt levels by most measures and expanding profit margins. We feel these strengths outweigh the fact that the company has had sub par growth in net income.”

Suez Environnement (NASDAQ:SZEVY) was upgraded by analysts at Natixis from a neutral rating to a buy rating.

Technip (NASDAQ:TKPPY) was upgraded by analysts at Societe Generale from a hold rating to a buy rating.

Tesla Motors (NASDAQ:TSLA) was upgraded by analysts at TheStreet from a sell rating to a hold rating. The analysts wrote, “Tesla Motors (TSLA) has been upgraded by TheStreet Ratings from sell to hold. The company’s strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its robust revenue growth, largely solid financial position with reasonable debt levels by most measures and solid stock price performance. However, as a counter to these strengths, we find that the company’s profit margins have been poor overall.”

Ultra Clean Holdings (NASDAQ:UCTT) was upgraded by analysts at TheStreet from a hold rating to a buy rating. The analysts wrote, “Ultra Clean Holdings (UCTT) has been upgraded by TheStreet Ratings from hold to buy. The company’s strengths can be seen in multiple areas, such as its revenue growth, solid stock price performance, impressive record of earnings per share growth, compelling growth in net income and notable return on equity. We feel these strengths outweigh the fact that the company shows low profit margins.”

Cimarex Energy (NYSE:XEC) was upgraded by analysts at Howard Weil from a sector perform rating to an outperform rating. The firm currently has $136.00 target price on the stock, up from their previous target price of $111.00.
