Employee Opens Fire At FedEx Sorting Center
A FedEx employee wearing bullets draped across his chest “like Rambo” opened fire Tuesday at a package-sorting center outside Atlanta, wounding six people before apparently committing suicide, police and witnesses said. The victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds that were consistent with shotgun blasts, Dr. Michael Nitzken of Wellstar Kennestone Hospital told reporters at a news conference. The gunman, who was found dead inside the facility, worked for FedEx as a package handler. 2 victims were in surgery: a 28-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman.
