How To Earn College Credits Without Taking AP Classes
By the end of senior year, one of the only things uniting high schoolers and their parents is the full-on race to the finish line: final exams, prom, graduation. And, for many, AP exams. But if your student doesn’t pass his or her AP tests, don’t fret that he or she will lose out on college credits before orientation begins. There are two other kinds of tests with a college credit advantage available: the CLEP and DSST program exams. CLEP, or College Level Education Program, is administered by the College Board. DSST, DANTES Subject Standardized Tests, is generally thought of as tests for military personnel to gain college credits. Anyone can take either of these tests.
