Acer Uses Computex To ‘Leap’ Into Smartwatch Field
Acer, the second largest Asian PC maker after Lenovo Group said Friday it won’t introduce any new desktop or laptop machines at Computex, the big hardware fair starting Tuesday in Taipei. Instead, the Taiwanese company will debut its first smartwatch, dubbed “Liquid Leap.” Acer will also launch five smartphones, ranging from a low-budget model to a more sophisticated handset that supports 4G networks.
