The New York Rangers are headed to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time since 1994. New York is guaranteed two home games in the final round and the most expensive are seats in the behind-the-net Platinum Club, which are going for a staggering $20,000 for Game 3. Of course, just because prices are high doesn’t mean that fans are actually spending that much, and if the demand isn’t there then prices will surely come down a bit. But in a massive, hockey-hungry city like New York, it’s a safe bet that plenty of fans will be ponying up.
