Announced eons ago at CES 2014, the waterproof Sony SmartBand is finally available in the U.S. It’s $99 from Sony’s online store and offers a feature set slightly more loaded than that of the Jawbone UP24 and FitBit Flex but only those on Android should apply. Sony has said from the start that the SmartBand is a life tracker, not an activity tracker. Sure, it counts steps, sleep activity and the like, but through Sony’s Android app, the tracker also helps the wearer note weather, photos, music and personal notes.

“Sony’s SmartBand Activity Tracker Is Now Available In The US For $99″ is categorized as “science and technology”. This video was licensed from Grab Networks. For additional video content, click the “video” tab at the top of this page.
