Simona Halep evened up the French Open final against Maria Sharapova on Saturday, winning the second set 7-6 after the Russian had won the first 6-4. Halep, a Romanian who is playing in her first Grand Slam final, traded breaks with Sharapova over the last four games of the set. Twice she served for the set, and twice she was broken. The seventh-seeded Russian has struggled with her serve this week and had four double-faults in the first set on Court Philippe Chatrier.
