German director Rick Ostermann has won the Munich Film Festival’s acclaimed The Bridge prize for his debut film, Wolfskinder. The period drama is set in 1946 and follows a group of war orphans struggling to survive in the wreckage of post-World War II Europe. Ostermann will be honored at a gala ceremony in Munich on July 3.
