Amtrak To Launch High-Speed Wi-Fi Network
Amtrak is planning to create its own high-speed Wi-Fi network for passengers on its Northeast Corridor lines. The network, which would offer a boost in speeds from the current 10 Mbps to a minimum of 25 Mbps, would span the entire 457-mile stretch of Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor, which runs from Boston through New York to Washington, D.C.
