Authorities say a Delta Air Lines worker has been injured while responding to an engine fire on a plane that landed at New York’s LaGuardia. The Federal Aviation Administration says the fire broke out at 10:25 p.m. and airport firefighters extinguished the blaze in the aircraft’s left engine. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says the injured worker was a Delta employee. Atlanta-based Delta didn’t immediately return a call seeking information on the employee’s condition.
