The Shinkansen bullet train in Japan is fast. It shuttles passengers in and out of Tokyo at speeds up to 125 miles per hour, and each stop lasts about twelve minutes. Considering it takes about 5 minutes for all of the passengers to exit and enter the train, they only have 7 minutes to clean one of the 300 trains that are in service every day. So how do you clean a train that fast? By running of course.
