FedEx reported higher-than-expected fourth quarter earnings and revenue Wednesday morning, attributing the strong quarter to a boost in ground shipping that was driven by the growth of e-commerce. Separately, the company also announced that it is increasing its dividend, news that, when paired with the better-than-expected earnings results, sent FedEx stock into positive territory in early Wednesday trading.
