Jacob “The Jeweler” Arabo Implicated For Illegal Gold Mining
According to the Observer, hip-hop’s go-to jeweler, Jacob Arabo and his company have been implicated for illegal gold mining practices in Swaziland, Africa. The report states that a current employee of the company, Beke Janel, is currently imprisoned for holding 27kg of illegally mined gold. It’s unclear of what charges Arabo could directly face from these allegations at this time, but this isn’t the first time that he’s been in hot water. In 2008 Arabo was convicted of money laundering charges and served a total of two years in prison.
