Chances are resort isn’t the first word that comes to mind when you hear the name Foxconn. Maybe you associate it with iPhones and iPads, or outsourcing American jobs , or employee suicides. Foxconn, the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer best known for building Apple products, is gearing up to open a chain of healthcare resorts in Asia, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal . Leonard Wu, general manager of Foxconn’s healthcare business group, tells The Journal that the company is planning to expand on its employee wellness program by launching a chain for consumers that can help calm people’s minds.
