General Motors has finally given an estimate for how much it plans to pay victims of its faulty ignition switch. GM revealed in its second quarter earnings report Thursday that it expects to pay at least $400 million for a compensation program for the defective ignition switch that resulted in dozens of crashes and 13 deaths.
