Despite the Internet’s pleas to relocate Arturo — a 28-year-old polar bear living in an Argentinian zoo — from what critics are calling deplorable conditions , he may be stuck. According to the director of the Mendoza Zoo Arturo is too old to move to a different zoo. The Assiniboine Park Zoo in Winnipeg, Canada, with its International Polar Bear Conservation Centre, was one of the first zoos to offer Arturo a new home in 2013, but due to strict regulations from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, the transfer wasn’t possible at the time.
