British Airways says it is suspending flights to Sierra Leone and Liberia as those West African nations struggle to contain an outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus. British Airways says in a statement quoted by The Wall Street Journal, that the airline will suspend its routes to those nations through the end of the month “due to the deteriorating public health situation in both countries.” BA’s move follows a similar one by Dubai-based Emirates , which on Saturday suspending its service to Guinea – another West African nation hit by the Ebola virus in recent weeks.
