Microsoft Urges Reform Of U.S. Government’s Surveillance Practices
In a set of comments regarding “big data,” submitted in response to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration’s (NTIA) request for public input, Microsoft listed a number of changes to how the U.S. government handles surveillance and digital privacythat it thinks would help build “confidence in the cloud.” Reform the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to ensure that its proceedings are theproduct of the adversarial process that is the hallmark of our judicial system.
