In this photo by Rafiq Maqbool, youngsters in Mumbai form a human pyramid to break the “Dahi handi,” an earthen pot filled with curd, an integral part of celebrations to mark Janmashtami, the festival that celebrates the birth of child-god Krishna. The pyramids are formed to honor Krishna’s effort to steal butter. The celebrations on Monday were the first after the Supreme Court set an age limit for participants.
