Rumors have long swirled that Apple is readying its next-generation smartphone, the iPhone 6 , for an early September launch, and now a newly-leaked image points to the same predicted date: Tuesday, September 9. According to the French website Nowhereelse, which as a strong track record of securing legit product images ahead of Apple launches, the launch date is emblazoned on the front of the device’s quick start manual, which will come inside the phone’s packaging. If real, the image on the cover of the guide for the presumed iPhone 6 also shows a slightly different design than the current model. The shape of the volume buttons (located on the left) have been updated, as have the Sleep/Wake button on the right. The Lightning connector appears to be centered below the home button, which still includes the Touch ID sensor.
