Press Release: Answers for Autism Walk – Saturday, September 20
4th Annual Answers for Autism Walk
LIGHTNING RELEASES (9/1/2014) – Looking for a way to get active outdoors and help support a great cause?
Join Answers for Autism on Saturday, September 20 from 9 am – 1 pm for the 14th Annual Answers for Autism Walk and Family Festival at Cox Hall Gardens in Carmel, Indiana. Come celebrate 14 years of this wonderful event dedicated to raising funds and increasing awareness of autism. The event itself is actually more of a family fun day, with music, a children’s activity tent, a silent auction, and inflatable slide and rock climbing wall. The walk is a one mile, wheelchair friendly walk of solidarity, which takes place following a balloon release. Information related to autism and autism awareness merchandise will also be available. The day is designed to provide families with an activity where there is no harsh judgment from others; where families with members on the autism spectrum can feel free to enjoy a day together. Proceeds are used to fund grants for community organizations across Indiana. Answers for Autism grants help expand existing programs and create new programs that improve and enrich the lives of individuals with autism. Registration is available online and in person on event day. Additional information can be found on the Answers for Autism website www.AnswersAutism.org.
