Drama 1001 Grams has been selected by the Norwegian Oscar Committee as the country’s candidate for the 2015 foreign language Oscar. The film stars Ane Dahl-Torp as a recently divorced, workaholic scientist who goes to a seminar in Paris that’s all about the actual weight of a kilogram. 1001 Grams is Norwegian director Bent Hamer ‘s third submission to the foreign language Oscar category following Kitchen Stories ( 2003) and O’Horten (2007).
