The election is less than a month away.  With the debates underway, do you know who you want to vote for President?  Do you know who you want to vote for the races “down ballot”?  If you need more information on candidates running for office, Middleton, Wisconsin based start-up “1myVote” is a smartphone voter app that profiles candidates running for office down ballot including governor, senator, and in the upper Midwest congressional races. It’s non-partisan and free. The 1myVote app is available on iTunes & GooglePlay.

1myVote now includes a polling feature that enables voters the option to voice their opinions in real-time to the candidates as well as see what is important to other voters. These polls include topics such as Equal Pay, Student Loans, and Jobs. According to the 1myVote poll, 98% of the participants reported that they plan to vote in November. More than half of the participants responded that they believe roads should be a top priority of their representative. Another poll showed that over 60% of participants believe that student loans should be a top priority of their representative.

Try 1myVote’s polling feature today to inform your candidates of your prioritized issues and top concerns.  Emily Kuhn, Chief Design Officer of 1myVote, designed the 1myVote app after standing in the polling booth in Madison during the 2014 election, “staring at a bunch of names I didn’t recognize. And worse, I had to select people from these names to represent me.” In that moment, she thought, “There must be a candidate app for this.” After scanning the app store and failing to find a good option, she decided to build a candidate app herself.  Click on to link and download the app today!
