Bank of America Corp (NYSE: BAC) has hired former Citigroup, Inc (NYSE: C) investment banker Chad Holm.
Holm, who previously served as an investment banker for Citigroup, Inc (NYSE: C) to financial companies including NYSE Euronext and BlackRock. He worked on the team that advised the $15.2 billion purchase of Barclays PLC by BlackRock and the $14.3billion purchase of Euronext by NYSE Group. He was previously based in New York but will be moving to Hong Kong to join Bank of America Corp (NYSE: BAC)’s institutions group in the region. Holm will report to Michael Tan, head of the financial-institutions group in Hong Kong, and Inkyo Shiu.
Bank of America Corp (NYSE: BAC) has been on a hiring spree to add dozens of more senior bankers to its Asian, European and Latin American regions to expand outside of its home market after purchasing Merrill Lynch in 2009. Last month, the firm hired Peter MacDonald, Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (NYSE: GS)’s former co-head of Asian securities, as a vice-president for Asia Pacific.
