Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (NYSE: GS) announced that it has hired Michael Wise, a veteran of Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS), to manage its financial institutions group, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Wise previously worked at Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) for 13 years and most recently served as the company’s equity capital-markets division and a co-head of equity capital markets in the Americas, the business daily said.
The WSJ said that the financial institutions group is part of Goldman’s equity capital markets group.

Shares of Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (NYSE: GS) opened at $159.30 during trading on Monday.
