Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) Raises Price Target on Charles Schwab Corp. (Nasdaq: SCHW)

Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE: GS) raised its price target on Charles Schwab Corp (NASDAQ: SCHW) from $18.00 to $20.00, but the firm kept its “neutral” rating on the stock brokerage company.

Goldman said it is still early to get excited, but “tunnel-end in sight as rates rise.”

Charles Schwab reported first quarter earnings per share of $0.10, missing the consensus estimate by $0.01. Revenue for the first quarter was $978 million, compared to the consensus estimate of $982.13 million.

Charles Schwab closed at $18.43 on Friday.
