If you had a payment held by Taylor, Bean & Whitaker Mortgage Corporation before the company went under and laid off most of its employees on August 5th, you’re going to have a bit of a difficult time making your payment. You cannot currently make a payment electronically, but there are some instructions to make a payment by check. If you’ve been doing any automatic deductions or online payments through Taylor Bean’s website, they have been suspended. Currently, mailing a check is your only payment option.
Since the company is facing major financial issues, you should send your check via certified mail so that you can be sure your payment was received and so that you aren’t hit by any late penalties—even if you sent your check in on time. You should also continue to use your Taylor Bean loan number until you are provided a new loan number from your new servicer.
For homeowners with Freddie Mac Loans that are current, they should call Cenlar, which will be their new service provider. Cenlar’s phone number is 1-866-430-9689.
For mortgage borrowers that had Freddie Mac loans which are behind, either Ocwen (NYSE:OCN) or Saxon will be their new servicer. Saxon can be reached at 1-888-422-6451.Ocwen can be reached at 1-800-74-OCWEN.
For borrowers that had Ginnie Mae Loans, Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) will be their new provider. Payments can be sent to the following Address:

PO Box 10334
Van Nuys, CA 91410-0334
