A unit for Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) named Wells Fargo Funds Management, LLC, announced it’ll be launching a series of economic and market commentaries designed for the investment professional and their clients.
The team running the new initiative comes from the upcoming merger between Evergreen Funds and Wells Fargo Advantage Funds. Individuals within the team will be authoring the various commentaries offered by the unit.
Karla Rabusch, president of Wells Fargo Funds Management, LLC, said this about the new project in a press release: “The development of this strategist team illustrates how the combination of our two fund families is already providing tangible benefits for our clients. This team publishes timely, topical insight and analysis into key areas of the markets and economy, giving clients information that will help them make informed decisions about their investments.”
Named to the team for the project are James Kochan, who will provide analysis for fixed-income markets; John Lynch, who will offer insights into the equities market; and Brian Jacobsen, who will give his analysis of the overall investment market as well as what the current economic data is saying.
Along with the three analysts offering their expertise in their specific disciplines, there will be additional guest commentary offered on a variety of economic topics and other important related subjects of interest, including projections going forward.
While all three strategists will be involved with the topics mentioned above, in the Market Update section, John Lynch will offer his perspective in the middle of the month to give an overview of what’s going on there.
