Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) Has Two Contenders for New Chairman Position

Bank of America Corp (NYSE: BAC) has narrowed its list of contenders for its chairmanship to two directors, Frank Bramble and Charles Holliday, according to a WSJ report.

It’s possible that another candidate could emerge in the search, but a decision is expected on Wednesday following the company’s shareholder meeting.

Bank of America could not be immediately reached for comment.

Frank Bramble, 61, is a former vice chairman of MBNA Corp, a credit-card company that Bank of America purchased in .

Charles Holliday, 62, previously served as head of DuPont Co.

The WSJ said that Holiday is considered to be the favorite to be Bank of America’s new chairman, however the report said that neither candidates are expected to change the strategy CEO Brian Moynihan.
