Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC) Opens 26th LEED Certified Branch in California

Wells Fargo & Co (NYSE: WFC) has opened a new branch in Studio City, CA which meets the gold-level Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.

The branch is located at 12900 Ventura Blvd in Studio City, CA and is the company’s 26th LEED-certified branch nationwide and is the company’s second certified branch in California. The first LEED-certified office that Wells Fargo operates is located in Manhattan Beach.

LEED is an environmentally-friendly building-certification developed by the U.S. Green Building Council that verifies buildings are designed and constructed to be ecologically friendly.

“We are very pleased and supportive of Wells Fargo’s efforts to promote green buildings,” said  Lance Williams, executive director of the council’s Los Angeles chapter to Bizjournals. “LEED gold certification is rare and reflects Wells Fargo’s commitment to sustainable building practices.”
