Citibank (NYSE: C) Appoints New Senior VP for New Jersey

Citibank (NYSE: C) has appointed a new senior vice president to manage its business banking unit in the state of New Jersey.

Robert Lemaire, formerly a regional executive at Sun National Bank, will take the role at Citigroup’s Short Hills office and will be responsible for sales and relationship management initiatives at Citibank’s Business Banking unit, which is responsible for small business lending.

Lemaire as previously served at Sun National Bank, where he helped the company expand the bank’s foothold in northern and Central New Jersey. he has also held management positions at both Washington Mutual and Wachovia.

“Robert will play a key role in the expansion of our business banking unit in New Jersey,” said Robert Koar, the head of Citibank’s Atlantic Division in a statement.

“His passion and commitment to superior customer service, along with his deep experience developing and executing commercial banking strategies will make him a great asset.”
