Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE: WFC) to Close Three Branches in Dallas County, IA

Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE: WFC) announced that it will be closing three branches in Dallas County, IA citing a lack of business to keep the branches going.

“We consistently look at the needs of our customers,” commented Wells Fargo spokeswoman Angela Kaipust. to the Des Moines Register

Kaipust noted that customers can continue to do their banking online, over the phone or at any of the other six Dallas County locations.

Wells Fargo & Co is the largest bank in Iowa and will have 74 branches in the state after the three announced closure.

The three branches, located in Redfield, IA, Dexter, IA, and Woodward, IA are slated to be closedo n August 6th.

Wells Fargo said that it has sold its Redwood property to First State Bank.
